Contract Negotiations
Thoroughly researching the athlete's market value, understanding the sports league's collective bargaining agreement, and leveraging relationships with team executives. We advocate for our client's best interests beyond the basics, considering factors like contract length, bonuses, and endorsements.
Compliance and legal guidance
The NIL landscape is complex, with rules varying between the NCAA, different states, and even individual universities. We must stay current on these rules to ensure the student-athlete remains eligible to compete.
Social Media Management
It involves everything from crafting content and engaging with followers to analyzing data to improve performance. Developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our clients overall goals. This involves setting objectives for brand awareness, engagement, and developing a strong marketing plan.
Financial Oversight
We will work with financial advisors to help students manage their new income, including tax implications and long-term planning. We will ensure that payments from NIL deals are received correctly.
Commission-based fees
Commissions usually range from 10% to 20% of an athlete's earnings from a specific deal.
Larger collective deals: For deals through NIL "collectives" (third-party booster groups that pay athletes for certain activities), we may charge a lower percentage, sometimes between 3% and 5%.
